Welcome Amigos!

Jim and Karen Johnson Announce Retirement

Yes, we are retiring!  With lots of mixed emotions, we have decided to sell the winery and vineyard and get on with what is in store for us next.  We are looking forward to traveling and of course, getting to enjoy our family more, especially our little grandsons.

In the picture below we are in the original “tasting room”, hastily arranged in the winery after new laws enacted by the Legislature allowed us to sell wine at the winery.  What a concept!  We excitedly welcomed our first visitors at the very next wine trail event.  This was probably in early 2002.  By 2004 we had the new tasting room and additional storage added on and soon we were open every weekend and not just on wine trails.

We will continue to operate the vineyard until the property sells (anybody wanna buy a winery?), and the tasting room will be in full Retirement Sale-A-Bration until the end of the Labor Day Weekend. Take advantage of some deeply discounted cases of wine, other discounts and several fun events.
